The economic sentiment index in Greece rose significantly in January 2025, reaching a level of 108,6 units<\/strong> From 106,4<\/strong> in the previous month, according to the latest IOBE economic sentiment survey.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This improvement came mainly from the strengthening of the Industry<\/strong> and of construction<\/strong>, while services and consumer confidence<\/strong> recorded a milder rise. In contrast, the retail trade<\/strong> recorded a decline after the festive period. Despite the positive picture, the problem of accuracy<\/strong> remains a major source of concern for households.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the IOBE report, the Greek economy continues to show resilience and development potential<\/strong>, as growth rates remain higher than the European average.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2714\ufe0f Decline in inflation<\/strong>, with estimates that in 2025 it will be lower than in the previous year.

However, the level of incomes remains relatively low, while the improvement in the economy will depend on the enhancing the efficiency of the public sector<\/strong>, the structural reform of markets<\/strong> and promoting targeted development policies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite internal stability, IOBE warns that developments in the international environment may create uncertainties for the Greek economy<\/strong>.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
